✨Daddy’s Western Beans ✨
📝I halved this recipe to make a smaller batch, below will make enough for the whole cookout!
🌶️ 1 lb ground beef
🌶️ 1 lb ground turkey
🌶️ 1 tube mild sausage
🌶️ Cajun seasoning (to taste)
🌶️ 1 #10 can of Bush’s Original Baked Beans
🌶️ 1 yellow onion, chopped
🌶️ 1 bunch green onions, chopped
🌶️ 1–2 cups BBQ sauce
🌶️ 1 tbsp cayenne pepper (omit if using spicy BBQ sauce)
🌶️ ½ cup yellow mustard
🌶️ 1 cup ketchup
🌶️ ½–1 cup light brown sugar
🌶️ 2 tbsp onion powder
🌶️ 2 tbsp garlic powder
How to Make It:
Brown the meats, drain the fat, then toss in the onions and let ‘em soften. Stir in Bush’s Baked Beans, BBQ sauce, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, and seasonings. Let it simmer low and slow for at least an hour, stirring every now and then adding more seasonings as you see fit.

I parked on Venice at a meter, its 2 hour parking there. But, there is a small lot in the center, it fills up quickly though! This is a City Center IKEA inside the old Helms Bakery building.
The Nitty Gritty ✨
The grand opening event on Saturday, May 2 will feature live music, free coffee, food samples, giveaways, children’s activities, and more.
The opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a Block Party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
