Meet the new TT Dott—an unusual font that redefines pixel aesthetics!
TT Dott is a display pixel grotesque. It is an experimental project created within our Creative Lab. The idea was to use a circle instead of a square as the base for the pixel, and to experiment with character shapes. We wanted to move away from the usual association with a pixel font—static and mechanistic—and make something completely different: streamlined, lively, and rhythmic. That’s why TT Dott turned out fluid and warm, evoking associations with embroidery, knitting, and techno parties all at the same time.
TT Dott is an accent font that works best in large sizes. It is suitable for exhibition and festival design, branding, and packaging. It can be used to add brightness and distinctiveness to a project, and in some cases, it harmoniously fits into an ethnic theme.
TT Dott includes:
- 2 font styles: Solid and Outline
- 605 glyphs per style
- 14 OpenType features
- Support for over 120 languages
To celebrate the release, we are giving you a 30% discount on this font!
Hi everyone! We prepared a visual story about our new font, which grew out of a single small idea.
TT Dott is a project that started in our Creative Lab with the words “pixelated” + “reverse contrast”. It’s an experimental font perfectly suited for areas that require display typography and boldness: exhibition design, festivals, and branding. We think it will fit beautifully into any bright, technical, or perhaps even ethnic context—it definitely has a touch of “embroidery” to it. In addition to the main Solid style, we also implemented an Outline style—which is even brighter and more expressive, working incredibly well in layout designs. The icons deserve special attention, too; drawing them was an absolute pleasure!

We've updated our TT Neoris to version Pro 2.000: added Greek, Arabic, and Vietnamese!
TT Neoris Pro is a concise neo-grotesque designed for universal use. Version 2.000 introduces the Greek and Vietnamese languages, as well as a font based on the Arabic alphabet. For the Arabic version, we chose a hybrid of the Kufi and Naskh styles—it is a modern take on the Arabic font with quite simple and minimalistic graphics, but with subtle humanistic touches visible in the terminals and joints. The main feature is the diamond-shaped dots in all diacritics, which can be swapped for round ones using a stylistic set.
This is a versatile and functional font that performs excellently in running text and looks engaging in accent lettering, maintaining readability at small point sizes while revealing its character at large scales. Thanks to its large number of features, it can easily replace several fonts at once.
TT Neoris Pro 2.000 includes:
- 21 styles: 10 uprights, 10 italics, and 1 variable font that changes along the weight and slant axes
- 2,534 glyphs per style
- 45 OpenType features
- 20 stylistic sets
- Support for over 240 languages
To celebrate the update, we are giving you a 30% discount on this font until June, 12!

Hi everyone! We can't wait to tell you about another major update to our bestseller.
You probably remember that TT Commons™ Pro and TT Norms® Pro have already acquired Arabic support. The third typeface to get Arabic is TT Neoris! The release is coming up very soon, and the development started so long ago that it's hard to even remember when.
We started working on the base font style during the ILT Arabic Type Design course, where we managed to find the font's main parameters, style, and character. What followed was long and meticulous work to develop the typeface. Meanwhile, our colleagues were working in parallel on designing Arabic for TT Commons™ Pro and TT Norms® Pro.
Developing Arabic has become an important milestone for TypeType, and it's great that we managed to create three graphically distinct and highly functional fonts. However, behind all this news, we don't want to overlook another big announcement—this is the first update for TT Neoris, our youngest bestseller.
Also, we drew the Greek and Vietnamese languages for the new version of the typeface. Swipe through the cards for all the details (with pictures)!

What is font research, and why is it so important? We break it down in our new article!
As part of our "Font System Research" service, we conduct an in-depth analysis of a client’s fonts, carefully considering the brand's positioning and values, its target audience, the current market, and competitors.
Why do brands need this kind of research, and how does it help them grow? What exactly does the process include, and how do we interpret the results? We answer all these questions and more in the article—and we even show you exactly how it works in practice!

We’re so excited to brag a little about our latest typographic victories—this time at the MUSE Creative Awards! Two of our projects took home prizes in the "Typography – Typefaces / Font System" category:
🥈 Our royal serif, TT Regins, won Silver;
🥇 The custom font system created for the American mortgage company, Rocket, won Gold.
We developed the unique typefaces WNTL and Bowtie for Rocket, America’s largest mortgage lender, making them a centerpiece of the company's new identity.
The typefaces communicate brand values through their visual design. WNTL, a concise sans serif (a customization of TT Commons™ Pro), symbolizes the accessibility of the dream of homeownership for everyone. Bowtie, a classic serif (a customization of TT Livret), conveys reliability and inspires trust. The names of the fonts reflect a deeply personal story: they are a tribute to Nick Gilbert, the late son of the company’s founder.
What should you do if your font is used without a license? We have the answer!
In our new article, we share how the TypeType License Control Department operates. You'll learn how type foundries and independent designers can stop the unlicensed use of their products, all while generating additional revenue and protecting their reputation.
