Repacking this ancient hand carved printers fist.
It's a lovely block but is badly warped and has had a hard life, it came out during Saturday's workshop and needed adjusting to get the best print.
It always feels worth the extra time doing the setup when the print comes out so clean.

It's nice to see a project that I have been working on in private, on the side of my day to day printing activities finally get released.

So yesterday was a big day for me, my book Letterpress - a creative guide to printmaking was realeased, published by @thecrowoodpress
I spent alot of time over the last year or so! working on it, with the aim of helping people to get printing, and help keeping the art of letterpress alive for future generations. WIth a book packed full of useful information / tips that i have learnt over the last 20ish years of hands on experience with letterpress.
A massive thankyou to my family for all there help and encouragement, @robluckins for doing all the great photos in the book, @museumartcraft for letting me have a day photographing on the Stanhope.
And thanks to @thecrowoodpress as until they approached me with the idea to write a book, I had never really thought of it being possible being massively dyslexic but hey it's happened.
