It’s been way too busy and I put the socials on the back burner for some months. But that doesn’t mean nothing has been happening! I thought it was time to rework Gimme Battleboats with some real depth, in line with the other Gimme families. I think the evolution certainly shows it’s been time well spent!

Okay, I must have missed a memo, but suddenly @adobe illustrator support COLR v1 variable fonts! (And by extension of course also COLR v0). I know I’ve been slacking on the font-side, but since when? 🤯 Looking forward to finally use it in some designs!

Demo festival is already more than a week ago! So felt it was time to share my shown works in their purest form. Was fascinating to do some classic hand-drawn animation once again: time-intensive, but makes more than up to it in the final result!
GIMME v012 has only just been released, but work is already being done for version 013! For instance this style of Masher, testing how far you can go with controller sizes!

Stack up those tiles! The biggest addition in this version of GIMME is the introduction of Passer, a Mahjong-based slab serif in seven styles. And not just in one row, but it adds up to four! And of course in all wind directions of the Mahjong game.
