✵ Artist Spotlight: ÆcHi (PR / DE) & Type1 – Live Drawing from IDM, bass music, ambient, Latin influences, and experimental club forms, ÆcHi and Type1 operate at the outer edges of electronic music, crafting emotionally charged journeys that move fluidly between abstraction and intensity. Their sound often suspends listeners between states or worlds, unfolding with narrative tension and depth, before tipping, when the moment calls for it, into full-throttle club energy. Much of this emotional weight emerges through a strong emphasis on sound design, where texture, spatial depth, and carefully shaped transitions become central compositional tools. ÆcHi is closely embedded in Puerto Rico’s tight-knit DIY community, where experimental music, sound, theatre, and film circulate through informal networks, and self-organised spaces. Type1 is rooted in the Estonian scene, with appearances across festivals such as Dark Side Of The Moon, Paavli.Club XL, and Valga Glow, and more recently expanding internationally at Norberg Festival. Following shared live appearances on Refuge Worldwide and IDA Radio, Dreamscape Festival marks the first club-setting presentation of their collaborative material, a long-awaited debut that brings their sound design-driven approach into a fully physical, dancefloor-oriented context. Dreamscape Festival takes place on 13–15 March at Paavli Kultuurivabrik. Regular Bird passes available via Fienta (link in bio).

The Lockers #19 Type1 (@type1.inc ), an Estonian-born, Berlin based producer and DJ opens up the more intimate side of his archive: textural strangeness, slow-burning neoclassical influences, and ambient works heavy with emotion, a world that doesn’t often get to surface in his sets. Brooklyn-based Producer and DJ Chloe Battelle (@chloebattelle ) shapes a sound that merges the raw purity of techno with a cinematic sense of melody and storytelling. Drawing from 90s acid, breakbeat, and early rave, her productions fuse rhythmic intensity with hypnotic detail. Founded in the darker corners of New York’s underground, her sound balances minimal, textured industrial energy with melodic tension and evolving soundscapes. The Hague-based and UK-rooted, dwayne (@dwanyee_ ) pulls stories from every corner of the airwaves, feeding them straight into an ever-growing record bag. His sets drift through different shades of UK bass, dub, grime, techno and breaks, stitched together with a pulse that feels both instinctive and intentional. Nino Henning (@ninohenning ) embraces eclecticism as the foundation of his musical endeavours. With an ‘anything goes’ philosophy in the studio, his sound cannot be confined to a single genre or style. Ranging across the lengthy spectrum that electronic music offers, the unexpected is to be expected during his DJ sets, blending genres and grooves into seamless narratives. Thank you @norbergfestival for having me, what an experience. I had an amazing time, met so many inspiring people, and spent two days immersed in forward-thinking electronic music. It was beautiful to witness just how many dedicated people and volunteers pour their energy into making this festival what it is. I also played my live debut — easily the most nervous I’ve ever been — but the warmth and kind words I received afterwards truly melted my heart :3. I’ll upload the set soon!
