Today marks 14 YEARS of continuous sobriety for me🙏🙌
Another year I never would’ve had if I didn’t ask God to help me get clean & sober in that jail cell on April 23rd 2012. My sobriety is the only thing that’s allowed me to be an artist, a son, a big brother, a husband, a dad & a friend people can trust these past 14 years. So blessed to have so many amazing people in my life today!
I know most of you probably know my story but I share about my sobriety & my story every year for the 1 or 2 of you who are really struggling, can’t imagine a way out & needed to hear that there’s a way to change!

You’d think that’d stop me but I went on like this for 2 and a half more years, living in my car when I couldn’t afford gas, or being holed up in crack houses for weeks at a time. I had completely given up on changing & just accepted the fact that I was just a junkie & just an alcoholic
I remember like it was yesterday, the years and years of constantly being in and out of rehabs, convincing myself and others things would be different this time & then not being able to make it a single day without drinking & using once I left.
it’s always important for me to remember where I came from and what God pulled me out of 14 years ago. He gave me a second chance at life. He gave me the opportunity to be a husband & a father. I’m so grateful man, I honestly never imagined I’d make it here
But in order to keep it
I NEED to remember the pain I caused myself and others around me
I NEED to remember how broken I was
I NEED to remember how much I hated myself
And I NEED to remember who performed a miracle and picked me up when I was completely broken and gave me a second chance at life
Thank you God for keeping me sober today.

Back in 2023, when Shohei was still on the Angels, I started working on this commission piece for a project that ultimately fell through. But I’d already fallen in love with the idea, so I kept the pieces I cut for it in the studio.
After wrapping up my show “ASCENSION”, I was cleaning out up & found the pieces and decided to revisit them & rework the concept a bit. I spent from November to now chipping away at it in between projects & I really love the end result. Stoked to finally bring it to life & share this piece with y’all 🔥🤘
