This is my calling. I did not choose Social Work. Social Work chose me and I mastered it!! Breaking down walls and decreasing the statistics. I am a representation of first generational students. I was not raised by parents and a family that attended college. However, I was raised by a village and a family that supported me and motivated me throughout my college journey to go forth and reach the highest peak. I love my village. This degree is dedicated to you all. 23 years old with a Masters degree and I did it in a year!! My faith was definitely tested this past year, but I found my way back to the Lord.
