Stoked to share some new work I contributed to the new @tesseractband War of Being music video!! I did mocap cleanup and some keyframe re-animating on the samurai fight. We did the animating in Unreal engine which was exciting to learn its quirks. Seeing animation adjustments with FX real time in engine is sick. This is a handful of my favorite shots from the project! The whole video turned out amazing and I had a great time working with the team on this one. Here's an updated reel of my work from the game animation class @animschool ! Spent a lot of time animating and an equal amount of time experimenting and learning around Unreal Engine. Getting stuff in game and making sure it works is a whole different beast, I had to mess with timing down to the .01 of seconds in order to get stuff like the jump transitions to look nice. Excited to continue exploring the games space in the future!

My latest project has been diving head first into game animation and I've been loving it so far. This WIP done @animschool is some in-game footage of animations I've put together in an Unreal Engine 5 project. So far I've done everything here on the main character, enemy animation is default from the project. It's so rewarding to work on an action in Maya for hours and finally pop it into the engine and actually move it around and interact with an environment. Still got a lot of polishing to do on this so you'll be seeing some more final stuff soon.

Howdy all, finished up another new shot in the Appeal and Entertainment course @animschool ! Big jumps were made this term and I'm happy with my growth with each new shot. Made some big workflow changes that helped me move a lot faster going from blocking to spline that'll definitely stay in my toolbelt. Had a blast animating with all my classmates and couldn't have done it without them or the instruction from my mentor Tony Mecca. Stay tuned for next big things coming in the future!

Here's a new shot for you all! Easily the most complex I've worked on so far. Working with 2 characters moving around a bunch and interacting with each other was no joke, but super fun to mess around with (Also spinning a character full 360 was a challenge). Getting two different personalities and two people with two different goals in one shot is really rewarding when it starts to come together. Had some technical hiccups on this one throughout too, at one point I had to just reference in a completely new copy of the big guy's character cause the rig was so broken lol. Couldn't have done this one without lots of help from friends and my instructors @animschool

Completed another acting shot this week! Had a ton of fun this class and had a great group of friends and instructor to help through this shot.
Spent a lot of time making sure the mechanics felt good and then trying to hit the attitude on this guy. Getting that annoyed at work feel was fun and definitely relatable lol
Got the next couple of weeks now to start prepping for the next (and probably last) @animschool class!

Aaaaand thatās a wrap on my latest shot for @animschool Had a blast on this shot and itās my favorite anim Iāve ever done. Felt like I leveled up a lot during this term with the help of my instructor and classmates. I started a little early so I could get far enough ahead to really polish small things like the fingers and mouth shapes. I spent a lot of time working on the mouth making it feel organic and connecting all of the face animation in a believable way. Let me know what you all think! Iāll be hopping in to the next class (facial performance)in a couple weeks āļø

Wrapped up my latest shot for #Animschool and had a great time. I liked getting in to the more realistic acting and figuring out the dialogue on this shot! Having a lot of fun layering the acting on top of the mechanics and trying to get some fun acting choices in there. Probably a few more weeks of work to do on this one so Iāll get back to it
