For where we’ve been, are, and will go…But mostly, for the incredible people who give their hearts, and so much more of themselves through it all. What a blessing to experience the fullness of life through sport, alongside so many great Canadians.
Italy hosted a historic, record-breaking Paralympic Games. I can’t wait to witness the lasting impact it has in the months and years to come. Thank you for welcoming all of us to your beautiful country and helping create a lifetime of memories over the last month.
Our crew of family and friends that joined us in Milan made home feel a little less far away. And no one does a better job than @hockeycanada , @cdnparalympics of making them feel at home, too. Thankful that so many of our loved ones were there to experience it all together, as one Canadian family. Hearing them talk about the incredible experiences they shared together is something I’ll cherish forever.
And thank you to Canadians back home from coast to coast to coast for tuning in, cheering us on, and showering us with love, support, and Canadian pride 🇨🇦
