I don’t think @brandonpero or I have slept since 2024. We met a couple years ago as neighbours in Liberty Village and quickly became fast friends. Our approach to our respective crafts, how we view art and an unabashed commitment to setting and exceeding our standard naturally created the pathway for our new venture, Golden Hour Sound. We launched at the top of the New Year with our amazing partners and clients at Apple Music, Avant Garden Records, Bluenote, Concord Records, Fantasy Records, Craft Recordings, Varese Sarabande, Pulse Recordings, BFR Label and some truly amazing independent artists and management companies. We have so much we are excited to share and create. Cheers to the new music business. Welcome to The Golden Hour.

2024 was one of the most rewarding years of my career. The opportunity to 3x our digital business, expand to six languages, and build the best homegrown YouTube team in publishing and broadcasting. Very thankful for the recognition from StreamTV. There’s a seismic shift happening in traditional broadcast and grateful for the opportunity to play a tiny part. People always ask what it is I actually do. Perhaps it’s best said by someone else: “As Director, Digital Growth & Partnerships, Tyler is responsible for managing the growth strategy and monetization of our IP digitally across our owned and operated FAST channels in North America and our YouTube channels globally. Tyler’s ambitious nature to stay one-step ahead of the digital trends and his leadership in identifying partnership opportunities with effective external vendors has proved essential to Blue Ant Media’s success and positioning as a leader in the rapidly evolving free-streaming space In the last 12 months he has more than tripled the monthly FAST revenue for the company’s owned and operated channels across North America, which encompasses a suite of PayTV channels in Canada and eight free-streaming channels across the U.S., Canada and Mexico that includes HauntTV, Homeful, CrimeTime, TotalCrime, Declassified, Love Pets, Love Drama and Drag Race Universe. As part of his results-oriented approach to his remit, Tyler has secured over 35 direct programmatic partnerships with global advertisers and negotiated numerous direct deals. Most impressively he spearheaded partnerships with industry-leading ad tech vendors, such as contextual AI Ad Targeting company IRIS.TV and TripleLift with the launch of new beta ad products, that enable video-level contextual advertising across the company’s portfolio of global free-streaming channels. These applications enable Blue Ant to optimize value to its advertisers, while also enriching the viewing experience for audiences by serving ads that are more relevant to them.” This started as a passion project off the side of my desk and is now a nice capstone to start the next chapter.
