Strong posture is possible for everyone if you will truthfully accept your starting point and pursue symmetry and balance in a dance with gravity.
If you know what is possible I trust you can find a way to climb the mountain.
When I fully realized what modern society had done to my body, a holistic approach that addressed all 24 hours of my daily postures was the only antidote to years of deformation and compensated movement patterns.

Hi Everyone - @tylerbenner from @strongfeetathletics here. Inventory in all sizes and colors has landed and is available for fulfillment again. We added sizes 37 and 36 for our shortest riders and made a few refinement tweaks to the walking pads and heel fit, tongue material for ease of cleaning road grime, and went monochrome on our colorways: Ghost and Obsidian. If you’ve been waiting for inventory in your size to order, now’s the time! Thanks for helping us sell-out on our first production batch. More updates coming soon, stay tuned! Thanks to @sean.c.rice for the stunning product photos. We can’t wait to hear what riders think with shoes on their feet! 🐋🚴♂️💨
This second ad is all about speed.
We wanted to show what it feels like when your shoes don’t hold you back – when you can actually use the full width of your foot to drive the bike forward.
Being able to splay your toes, feel the pedals, and stay grounded through corners changes how you ride. You’re more confident. You find balance faster. And that balance helps you find every little moment to accelerate.
Big thanks again to Sean Rice @sean.c.rice for bringing this to life, and to Adam Taylor @ast0513 for riding hard and showing exactly what these shoes are built for.
There’s more coming, but for now, enjoy the ride.
🚴🚴♂️💨💨
Since the idea of a cycling shoe took hold of me those dreams were buoyed knowing if I could bring my dream shoes to life, Sean Rice @sean.c.rice was going to deliver some incredible media to tell the story. Finally now many years later I have goosebumps watching our first commercial. I hope you all love it and get inspired to pick up a pair and hit the trails this summer.
Special shout out to Andrew Bushnell who was ripping the trails in these epic shots. 🚵📷
In true no rest for the weary fashion, we shot this the morning after the 2025 Barefoot Shoe Expo in the foothills around Denver. Future media vignettes and announcements are forthcoming, so please make sure you’re following @strongfeetathletics and join the email mailing list on the SFA website so you’re the first to know.
Thanks to everyone for helping a 10 year vision come to life in an incredible first commercial. This doesn’t happen without the time, money, and effort of many creative and industrious individuals, AND it doesn’t happen without the now many hundreds of messages from customers and followers of thanks, support, love for their new shoes, and questions about foot health and posture.
With a month to now reflect, something stood out to me from talking to the thousands of people at the 2025 Barefoot Shoe Expo: I’m honored when someone shares about their own personal foot health journey. I could see the light of inspiration in their eyes or their words because I could see someone wanting to learn, or they are earnestly sharing their progress improving a particular asymmetry or dysfunction, often for many months or years already. I met many people who were patient enough to wait for change to happen and were honest with themselves about their personal activity and habits as inputs to a longer-term system.
Thank you all for the motivation and inspiration, and confirmation of a shot well aimed and a target well struck. Shooting a 10-year shot is quite an experience, thanks for the ride! 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️💨💨💨 🎯🎯🎯

After more than a year of prototypes and artwork exploration, I present to you the Sports Series of Air Chairs. The new series is made with the same sublimation process as our best-selling Solar Series featuring NASA maps of the Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and the Sun as this gave us the ability to capture the unique visual texture of real sports balls for photorealism. Combined with our original customer-loved five-layered upholstery, 5-year warranty, 30 day returns, and free USA shipping, we think you’ll be thrilled with the results.
I grew up playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf, and in more recent years I’ve taken up tennis. And though I don’t have a lot of practice playing pool or bowling I always have fun trying my hand at their skill.
What I love about sport is that it is inspiration to use and move my body. I can enjoy the pump of a good gym session (shout out Arnold!), but I quickly tire feeling like a hamster on a wheel. By contrast, something comes alive in me when I am sprinting to defend a hard angle in tennis as I love sliding to reach an impossible ball. I certainly know I would have a harder time sprinting and sliding to my limits if there wasn’t the motivation of chasing the ball in the first place.
I say often to anyone who will listen to me, inspiration is the most difficult on-going challenge to use and move your body daily. Without a ‘why’ everything else becomes more important and habits and goals get left behind. We ossify, not only physically, but figuratively, mentally, and emotionally. Without inspiration to move, we don’t.
My dream is these new Sports Series Air Chairs help you connect with your ‘why,’ inspiring you by just looking at them and using them throughout your workday to get outside and play and feel free from the tribulations of life, if only for a few minutes. Because if you can tap into the joy you feel to learn a new skill like shooting a three-point shot, throwing a curveball, hitting a kick-serve, rolling three strikes in a row, bending it like Beckham, sinking the clutch putt to win the skin, or running the table from the break, you’ll find continual inspiration to adapt, change, and move.

Yesterday for Earth Day 🌎 I wrote a blog for @venndesign and featured photos from my recent adventures into nature exercising a personal mantra of “Go Outside and Find Beauty.” To get a good look at the photos, please hop on venndesign.co/blog and enjoy at your leisure.
Ever since reading Siddhartha years ago I’ve tried to pay attention to myself and if I was seeking vs finding.
“What could I say to you that would be of value, except that perhaps you seek too much, that as a result of your seeking you cannot find.”
As we all use devices more throughout the day, increasingly connected to an ever evolving internet of information and comparisons, I personally must prompt myself to disconnect and slow down to “find” again. And when I’m enjoying and feeling excited by what I might discover around the next corner, my legs never get tired and it is easy to satisfy my body’s urge for movement and adventure.
I hope my photos inspire you to go outside and find beauty in your own environments, and for a moment to forget everything else and just enjoy. Feeling itself is about finding and never seeking, for when one seeks joy it remains forever out of grasp, but it can be found in a moment when you turn a corner and unexpectedly stand eye to eye with a wild animal enjoying the sunset. I’d love to see what you discover, or at least listen to a good story and chuckle or sit in solidarity with your latest existential awakening.
“When someone is seeking, it happens quite easily that he only sees the thing that he is seeking; that he is unable to find anything, unable to absorb anything, because he is only thinking of the thing he is seeking, because he has a goal, because he is obsessed with his goal.
Seeking means: to have a goal; but finding means: to be free, to be receptive, to have no goal. You, O worthy one, are perhaps indeed a seeker, for in striving towards your goal, you do not see many things that are under your nose.”
When walking, running, sitting at your computer, filling a home or office with furniture, riding bicycle, shooting arrows, or standing on your head, there is one constant that must be considered before all else: Gravity. It is both teacher, healer, companion, and overload. Ignore the cumulative effects of a sedentary life where you outsource your strength, stability, and alignment and you will suffer the consequences of maladaptation, unable to support yourself in daily life. All it takes to avoid this sorry fate is a desire to be present with the physics of your moment and the courage to see reality from a new perspective.
