It felt like the right moment to close the year this way. For the final episode of our podcast series, we invited one of our own to step in and guide us toward the end of the year.
Tykov is one of the pillars of Trickpony, bringing a broad musical perspective to everything we do. With dance music running through his veins from a young age, he’s developed a careful and considered approach to selecting records. Alongside his love for music, Tykov is deeply involved in the national club scene, working within music and events while steadily shaping his place in the underground house landscape.

Packing the bags for a three-stop weekend. Kicking things off tomorrow morning at Turf Radio with some slower, dubby housers with buddy Yorick. Later, I’m opening the intimate Klubcafé together with the Trickpony crew before Rick Baguette & Mandana take over. And on Saturday, we’re heading to the Maalstroom pop-up for a cozy session full of groovers.

Had the chance to return to @sisyphosberlin last weekend and what a club it is. Here’s a 3-hour journey through rolling grooves, with some reggae-tinged cuts finding their place along the way.

We’re stepping into one of Amsterdam’s most iconic clubs, Shelter. Bringing in Berlin-based Taslo, we’ll take over the second room for a rolling, bumpy night!
Just got back from an unforgettable journey through Vietnam, traveling all the way from south to north. Wild landscapes, vibey streets and also lots of nature moments. I even found a sweety decorative textile that will be part of the decoration in the almost-finished studio.
Now it’s time to channel all that inspiration and I’m looking forward to get back behind the decks. Catch me here in the coming weeks:

Saddle up! Het is tijd voor de beste pony van stal. Tykov komt ons 29 november in de watten leggen met zijn sterke selectie aan platen. Met zijn liefde voor de dansvloer en het constante diggen weten we zeker dat hij de juiste toon zet voor de pop-up bij @suds_hair

Playing b2b already feels effortless, like we could swap records at random and still stay in sync. Over the years, our musical tastes have naturally aligned. Working together as partners in Trickpony, alongside two like-minded friends, and debuting with our own ADE event made it all even more special. We were lucky to be the ones that had the honour to open the dancefloor for Trickpony’s ADE collaboration with Omnibus. Grateful to share these moments together.
It’s almost time. Just a few more nights until the ADE madness kicks off, and on Thursday we’re turning De Sering into one of the coziest dancefloors in Amsterdam. Alongside KRN (UK) and Walrus (BE), we’ve got our very own crew behind the decks.
Tykov & Yorick will set the tone with their warm, housy grooves. Having played together countless times, they know each other’s collections inside out. The same goes for No:attitude & VOSS, two friends who clocked in endless hours together behind the booth. No surprise they’re taking on the closing duties.

Music brings people together, and the link between me, @nielsofner a.k.a No:attitude and @roemervoss a.k.a VOSS are living proof. What started as a chance encounter in Lisbon turned into regular meetups behind the decks. These 2, part of the crew behind Amsterdam’s @omnibus.collective event series, are all about the housier side of electronic dance music. When Klubcafé asked me to do an invites-night, I knew immediately that these guys are the one to ask.
