Anything I make will always be sentimental to me, so I thank each and everyone for the love and support to be able to do what I love so much. We got a lot coming this year, this collection was supposed to be a whole lot bigger but we gotta keep the ball rolling. ❤️
Our website is now closed, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed love and support. “We Don’t Tread Lightly” was a collection I made paying homage to my childhood.
Growing up, my home had Black Panther memorabilia and i soon realized what it all meant. Regardless of who you were the Black Panthers took care of you and stood next to you through different struggles. I seen this quality in my pops, finding out he wasn’t my blood but still took care of us as his own.
This double entendre played a huge role on my design process being that my father is the panther & myself being the cub - the kid in the soldier helmet.
A solid memory of mine was my pops coming home from West Pack and taking me and my siblings to the Ed hardy store each time. He introduced me to many different brands that helped me identify myself through clothing.
“We Don’t Tread Lightly” is a collection told through memories of myself paying it forward to my father. Consisting of double entendres of past memories and prospective hopes,
