Edith ‘Babs’ Lillian Fitzgerald 1926-2025
Today we celebrated the life of my Grandmother or Nana as her grandchildren called her. She was 98 and lived a full life. From the stories we heard at her service. Here are the lessons we should all learn from her.
Love to listen to people’s stories.
Love dog.
Love to laugh. Tears rolling down your face laughter.
Love to get outside with friends.
Always have treats. For the neighbourhood dogs or otherwise.
And lastly. Don’t let her catch you picking at the turkey after dinner. Or she’ll kick your ass.

Happy Opening @hellskitchenbway It was an absolute pleasure seeing this production move uptown and working on the Sound Design Team.
I can remember riding in the car listening to @aliciakeys with my dad. I grew up listening to Alicia’s music and dreaming of the songs written about New York.
I spent hours, day after day listening and watching @davechappelle host Block Party. Picking up my bass and trying to emulate how @adamblackstone was playing. Dropping R&B bass fills into my silly little hardcore band’s sets.
Thanks @garethowensound for bringing me along. Thanks to the team for making me feel at home and giving me a place to shine. In the bright light city where dreams are made of.
