this cohesive body of work is a dreamy indie rock soundscape that i wanted to feel like a live recording from one of my shows. four snapshots of four different relationships ending for different reasons.
i spent many years as a working touring drummer, making beats on my OP1 and only writing songs alone on planes and tour buses, but the lovedream ep to feels like its me & all my friends playing together. it’s a reflection of the beautiful musical community i find myself surrounded by in los angeles and how it feels to record music with your friends in a sweaty garage studio.
i always envisioned the love lives of the characters in these songs being in the setting of ray bradburys book “the martian chronicles”, with the backdrop of a dreamy desert in a distant world’s perpetual sunset.
i am so very happy to be able to share a beautiful chapter of my journey with you all.
