Terran | Riddim Dubstep

Budapest is such a great city. I’ve never had the chance to immerse myself in a foreign culture like this, and I think it was a great place to start. I met so many of my over-seas friends then made a bunch of new ones! Massive thank you to @riddimnyc and @frat_budapest for inviting me out. I’m already planning my next trip 🇭🇺

After 10 days in Budapest we flew to Antwerp for my first Space Invaderz party. We landed Wednesday, the show wasn’t until Sunday. Four days to explore the city and recover from all that tourism. Sunday night, we all went out. The party was set to end at 6am, my bus to the airport was at 8am… Not much time for sleeping 😬 I did not let that stop me. I met so many of my overseas friends in real life! People that I thought I would never shake hands with. The night felt like a dream. When we got back to Atex’s house, I knocked out on the air mattress. I don’t know if I even set an alarm… Lucky for me, Warlord stayed up the whole time just to make sure I woke up. As soon as he got me awake, he said peace and went straight to bed 😂 If he hadn’t done that, I could have easily missed my flight and still be stuck in Europe. Monday was all travel. A bus from Antwerp to Charleroi airport. Flight to Portugal. Connecting flight. Then an 11-hour trip across the Atlantic. I cried on the plane. Not sad or happy, just overwhelmed. It finally hit me. All the work I’ve put in over these last 5 years led to this moment. The past few months have been heavy for me. I needed a mental health break. For the first time in a while, I felt that weight lift. It was my first time away from home for this long, but I never felt homesick. Everywhere I went, my friends made me feel welcome. I landed in Boston at 11pm Instead of jet lag, I was calm. This trip made the world feel smaller. Huge thank you to @atexdubs and @space.invaderz.be for showing me what the riddim community in Europe is like. And enormous love to my travel buddies @riddimnyc @warlorddubstep @jgdubz 👾🗽🥀🗿
