Turkey season is officially here, and we’re proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Governor’s One-Shot Turkey Hunt. A tradition built on conservation, camaraderie, and the love of the outdoors. Wishing everyone a safe, successful, and memorable opening day. 🦃
As we gear up for spring in Tennessee, turkey season is right around the corner This is the perfect time to highlight the importance of R3: Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation of hunters.
The Youth Hunt is happening this weekend (April 4–5), followed by the statewide season (April 11–May 24) across all 95 counties (be sure to check WMA-specific regulations). Hunters are limited to one gobbler per day, two per season, with only one jake allowed.

This past weekend, the Montgomery County Shooting Complex hosted the SASP local match. SASP brings together student athletes of all ages to compete in pistol and rifle disciplines in a safe, coach-led environment.
