@lollapalooza , Lilith Fair, H.O.R.D.E. Festival, and Ozzfest helped shape some of the earliest multi-day festival culture at the @gorgeamphitheatre in the 90s. Long before the venue became the legendary destination we know today, thousands of fans were already making the pilgrimage.

The older I get, the more I realize this day means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. I’m lucky enough to still have my wonderful mom, but many of my friends have lost theirs… Their rocks in this world. Some other friends, however, are navigating complicated relationships. I also know many people who want to be mothers who can’t and those who chose not to be. This day can be rough because of those reminders.

This isn’t directly a Mother’s Day post, but it does show how influential moms are to this world. They shape your perspective and are generally the ones who provide unconditional love, wisdom, and support. Without them, people wouldn’t be who they are. Dave isn’t any different.
