Last month marked the 1 year anniversary of our film Wood House! A very interesting experience with some of the most interesting individuals I've met. Lots of fun had and also lots of lessons learned. I can't thank each and everyone who helped with the project and I'm grateful to all those who contributed. Might have missed a few contributors but all of them can be found on the previous post. Many things I'd do differently. But the whole experience was a highly important one, and I'm glad the audience enjoyed our film as well. We hope to come back soon to make a more meaningful film from a different perspective.

After all, films are all about empathy. Seeing things from other people's perspective, so that we can understand the world around us better. Relating to people we might never meet/people with completely different values and understanding different ways to live, so that it opens up our minds. That's what made me fall in love with making films, which in turn made me more aware of watching films.

In a fast paced & expensive city like Hong Kong, it's more important than ever to understand different people's perspectives, reflect on our own actions that contribute to other people's happiness or suffering, even if we disagree. That's what makes us human.

Had some unused footage from a few months back, with both color and black-and-white, shot with both kit lenses and @ttartisanofficial 35mm f/1.4. Due to how shaky it was, I was unsure of how to put it together in an appealing way. Suddenly I had a thought to just push through with the editing and have hyper fast cuts, paired with an Ilayaraja song. The music used here is from Punnagai Mannan. Thanks to @saninthecutt for inviting me during his Hong Kong shoot. Always a pleasure.
