What a week at #SynBioBeta2026! 🔑 Key takeaways: Our CEO Emily Leproust kicked things off on the main stage with a panel fireside chat that traced a decade of building Twist after our first product launch in 2015 in London’s SynBioBeta. The message was simple but powerful: what looks like an overnight success is really 11 years of relentless innovation, execution and operational excellence. From our origins in DNA synthesis, to delivering on market and investor promises, building an innovation engine and expanding to NGS tools, and more recently expanding our footprint in proteins and AI-based drug discovery. Emily and John Cumbers’s discussion covered this journey and lessons learned while building it all. → Our CSO, Colby Souders, interacted with leaders from Atomic AI, Infinimmune, and Amazon Bio, exploring how Twist’s high-throughput data capabilities are growing and enabling pharma-scale discoveries in the “The Biology Data Flywheel” breakout session. → Our VP of R&D Esteban Toro joined NVIDIA, Oracle, and Cradle to highlight “The New Computational Biology Stack” and how tightly integrated design-build-test-learn cycles are reshaping therapeutic discovery and Twist’s role in enabling successes via wet-lab validation. → Our CEO, Emily Leproust joined a breakout panel on Breaking the Barriers of DNA Synthesis to formally introduce our new Complex Genes offering, designed to tackle previously hard-to-synthesize sequences at any scale and any complexity, affordably and reliably. Our booth 117 invited founders, investors, pioneers from AI tech bio and biotech companies, academics and students who spent time networking with twisters, meeting our C-suite and Emily Leproust. The connections made here fuel the science we’re all building toward. @synbiobeta , @twist_bioscience

🎉 Announcing the launch of Complex Genes! We are expanding our clonal genes portfolio with the early access launch of Complex Genes which include short tandem repeats, inverted repeats, long repeats, homopolymers up to 30 base pairs and localized regions of high or low GC content. “As research in nucleic acid therapeutics and AI-guided protein design and therapeutics discovery accelerate, scientists need a reliable partner to consistently deliver genes rapidly at scale and with more complex sequences,” said Emily M. Leproust, Ph.D., CEO and co-founder of @twist_bioscience . “At Twist we already had the speed, scale and cost advantage. Now, we’ve added complex sequences to our gene synthesis offering and expanded our length up to 7,000 base pairs. With reliable complexity at scale, we expect to be able to accept about 99.5% of clonal genes sequences sent to us by our customers and 99.9% of all DNA products, making Twist their one-stop-shop, whether they’re ordering straightforward constructs or highly challenging sequences, enabling faster iteration and accelerated discovery timelines for our customers.” Learn more here: istbioscience.com/news-releases/news-release-details/twist-bioscience-expands-clonal-genes-offering-include-long-and Or find a clickable link in our story or story highlight under press releases.

AACR 2026: What a week. Watching the scientists, clinicians, and innovators who are literally rewriting the future of cancer care, THAT was the moment we’ll carry with us long after the conference ended. 👋 At the Twist booth: we spent the week in deep conversation with researchers and scientists tackling some of cancer research’s hardest problems and talking through how Twist can help them move faster and further. 📊 On the poster floor: we presented new work on MRD detection, cfDNA library preparation, and comprehensive genomic profiling in translational oncology. Customers and collaborators from Fulcrum Genomics, GeneCentrics, and CHLA also presented work supported by Twist products. 🥂 At our evening mixer at Pendry Nason: on Tuesday night, we took things off the conference floor and into Nason’s Beer Hall. The turnout blew us away. Even better? Hearing directly from Droplet Biosciences and Sampled Labs about the impact they are driving and how Twist enables them to push what’s possible in cancer research. The future of cancer discovery is being built by people like the ones we met this week. We’re proud to play a role in enabling that work and we’re already looking forward to what comes next. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined us Tuesday night, and made AACR 2026 one to remember #AACR26, @twist_bioscience

Biotechnology is shaping some of the most important decisions of our time, scientifically, culturally, and politically. Our CEO and co-founder Emily Leproust joined leaders at the Bio Leadership Summit for an honest conversation about what leadership in biotech demands today. From advancing innovation responsibly to elevating biotechnology culturally and politically, it’s clear that the future of biotechnology depends not just on what we build, but how we lead. Big thank you to Drew Endy and his amazing Twist socks (as noted by Stephen Kotkin) and to the fellow panelists for the discussion! 🧬 @twist_bioscience

🥳 It’s our birthday! What started as an ambitious idea- to write DNA at scale and unlock new possibilities in biology- has grown into something special. Today, we’re proud to support researchers and partners around the world tackling the biggest challenges in health and sustainability. Birthdays are a great moment to appreciate the people behind the progress. To our team, our customers, and our collaborators, huge thank you for being part of the last 13 years. 🙌 @twist_bioscience

We are thrilled to be one of Amazon Bio Discovery’s laboratory partners! 🎉 Amazon Bio Discovery unifies and accelerates lab-in-the-loop drug discovery by providing in silico protein design, analysis and wet lab validation. One example of the advantage of this collaboration is designing novel antibodies with researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: “They designed nearly 300,000 novel antibody molecules. From there, they sent the 100,000 top candidates to Twist Bioscience for testing. What typically takes up to a year using traditional design methods took weeks from designing the candidates to sending them for lab testing.” Read more about our partnership with Amazon Bio Discovery on their blog: /news/aws/aws-amazon-bio-discovery-ai-drug-research Or find a clickable link in our story or story highlight under Blog Posts @twist_bioscience , @amazon , @memorialsloankettering

Our HR team recently stepped out from behind the scenes and into the heart of our operations with a tour of our Wilsonville manufacturing site. From seeing our printers in action to meeting with the teams who bring it to life every day, it was a great reminder of the people, precision, and purpose driving everything we do. Events like these help us better support our teams and continue building a culture rooted in grit, impact, service, and trust. @twist_bioscience
