We are thrilled to see the Methow Investment Network featured in the latest issue of WSU Magazine. The article highlights how our community is leading the way in rural economic resilience by proving that investing locally isn't just a "nice idea"; it’s a model that works. By keeping our capital right here in the valley, we’re empowering local entrepreneurs and ensuring our economy stays strong and self-reliant. A huge thank you to all the investors and business owners who make this network a success. Check out the full story to see why the "Invest Local" movement is so important: https://magazine.wsu.edu/2026/04/24/invest-locally-it-works/

Hello friends, Just because you’re making sales doesn’t mean you’re making a profit. Join us from 5:30-7:30 pm March 25 on the TwispWorks campus for "Pricing for Food Businesses: Creating a Menu, Accounting for Costs, and Managing Cash Flow to Ensure Profitability" to learn more. In this free workshop, business advisor and former food business owner Leonel Marcial will share tips and tools for how to operate a food business with an eye towards profitability. He will show how simple menus with common ingredients win out over elaborate menus with too many options. He will also explain how to account for all your costs and how to price items appropriately to cover those costs – and then some. Whether you are thinking of starting a business or currently in operation, Leonel will present important considerations for everything from a cottage food venture to retail marketing, to a full-on restaurant. Join us to make sure your food business remains viable and thrive-able. Call Economic Alliance (509.826.5107) or TwispWorks (509.997.3300) to sign up.

You will use AI to build a logic model for one project or initiative and learn how to translate it into a project narrative. This session also covers practical applications of AI: what it’s good for, what it’s not, ethical considerations, and how to use it without losing your authentic voice.
