Rollin’ free! @wsdot has partially opened North Cascades Highway SR 20 on the east side from Winthrop to Mile Post 156 near Rainy Pass.
SR 20 through North Cascades National Park remains closed to through traffic due to road damage from a harsh winter. Crews are working to assess repairs and get the road open as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can access the Methow Valley from the west side of the state via Snoqualmie Pass I-90, Blewett Pass US 97 & Stevens Pass US 2. Enjoy the ride! 🚙💨
