Seriously… Join Jon, owner of Roots and Rivers, for a hands-on terrarium workshop where you’ll build your own mini ecosystem from start to finish. He’ll guide you through each layer and its purpose so you leave with a beautiful, low-maintenance terrarium to take home. All materials are included and no experience is needed, making this perfect for beginners.

This is a long and sappy one so bare with me- Yesterday meant everything. Looking around that room and seeing it packed with family, friends, coworkers.. and honestly people I see so often you have been promoted to family whether you like it or not.. was exactly what my grandma loved most: everyone together. She was the foundation for my family. The one we leaned on without even realizing it. She went through so much in her life and still somehow loved even harder through all of it. That’s why anyone who met her felt it right away, she made people feel seen, cared for, and at home just by being herself. I know if she could’ve seen that room yesterday, she would’ve been overwhelmed (in the best way), probably crying, and just soaking in every second of it. She was my best friend and always will be. This was all for you grandma. I hope you felt every bit of love in that room. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, checked in, and supported my family through this journey. It hasn’t been easy, and none of it went unnoticed. And a huge thank you to my Twin Lights family, especially Mike, Kait, and Brinn, for holding me down and making it possible for me to be there for my grandma and my family when it mattered most. I’ll never forget that. You guys held me down in ways I didn’t know I needed. We’re getting close to our goal, so if you’re able to donate or support, it truly means a lot. There’s also a lupus walk in Ocean City on May 17th if you would like to join my family and I. We’re Hiring: Seasonal Field Events Staff (Part-Time) 🍻 Twin Lights Brewing is looking to add to our seasonal field events team—pouring beer and representing us at farmers markets, festivals, pop-ups, and in-store tastings. If you enjoy talking beer, engaging with people, and being out in the community, this is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing brewery. What the role looks like: – Pouring beer at farmers markets, beer fests, and pop-up events – Running tastings and samplings at retail locations – Representing Twin Lights Brewing off-site (you are the face of the brand) – Assisting with setup and breakdown of event equipment – Taking orders and processing payments using a POS system – Helping keep events organized, efficient, and fun What we’re looking for: – Experience working in a brewery, bar, or similar environment required – Comfortable using a POS system to take orders and payments – Jockey box experience preferred – Must be 21+ – Able to lift and transport cases of beer and kegs – Outgoing, personable, and confident talking to customers – Works well with a team and communicates effectively – Willing to pick up shifts and support the team when needed – Reliable and flexible with a variable schedule (especially weekends) – Able to work independently and represent the brand professionally Opportunity to Grow: If you excel in this role, there is potential to pick up shifts in our tasting room.
