Based in Miami, Florida, Twilight Dial brings timeless elegance to modern music, revisiting the golden age of American sound with style. The group features John Watson on vocals, Colin Logatto on saxophone, Beau Cornelius on keys, Joshua Ewers on upright bass, and Abner Torres on drums.
Their debut EP, A Twilight Dial Christmas, arrives November 28, 2025, offering a festive collection that blends swing, vintage pop, and holiday nostalgia. Inspired by the era of The Rat Pack, the project was painstakingly recorded live on a soundstage using classic techniques that capture the color of mid-century sessions. The record features special guests Nicolle Garcia (“Man with the Bag,” “Christmastime Is Here”) and Ledoux (“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”), adding variety to the group’s signature sound.
Formed on a whim in 2024, Twilight Dial quickly found its rhythm in Miami’s fast-paced music scene. When Beau and Colin stumbled upon a crooning bartender in Brickell, John Watson, the rest quickly fell into place. Since their inception, they’ve operated as performers in Miami’s live music circuit.
The group’s sound is faithfully captured by audio engineer Christian DeKnatel (DKNTL), whose work, from room preparation all the way to post-production, preserves the live character of Twilight Dial while incorporating the period accurate techniques of the greats.
To celebrate their debut release, Twilight Dial is performing a holiday show on December 14th in Miami, FL, further keeping live performance at the forefront of their vision. More info to come…
