Some things that I hold onto in the present. The market, the students' beautifully hand processed 16mm, the library, the bookstore. And music. Lifelines in my own psychic sea. Thank you to all my family and friends for reminding me to try and be present.

I'm so honored by Rachel Stevens' generous, wise, insightful and thorough review of my recent exhibition "The Wonder" in the current Millenium Film Journal (83). And with a cover featuring Ken and Flo Jacobs it couldn't be better. Thank you, @agent_stevens and @millennium_film_journal for supporting the work. @jamesgallerygc /

I'm delighted to announce that The Museum of Modern Art has acquired my film "Schumann" (16mm, b/w, silent, 7:25) and the full set of eighteen large-scale drawings created during the making of the film. I'm grateful to Inge de Bruin for making this gift in memory of Agnes Gund. You can see images from the film and drawings on the MoMA collection website. /artists/28755-jenny-perlin Thanks to the Department of Media and Performance, and especially to Stuart Comer, Rebecca Kusovitsky, Erica Papernik, Brian Block, and Sarah Primm for supporting the process. @themuseumofmodernart @stuartcomer @beckykuso @brian_block_studio @littlestoneprimm

Now out--in print! I had a wonderful conversation with Assaf Evron about his recent show at OSMOS. You can read it in issue 30 of OSMOS Magazine. Sea cucumbers, photography, phenomenology and caverns--what could be better? Thanks for the invitation and the dialogue. @assafevron @osmos.online

My photos are terrible but my gratitude enormous for seeing all the things people do and make. It never ceases to amaze me not only that art and care persist but how immediate the combined feelings of comfort, settledness, inspiration, and awe come to me just by virtue of being able to be in spaces (art spaces or any space) where creative expression is happening. and my incredible privilege to be able to be here. plus what are the chances to run into @_benclement !! such a pleasure to reconnect. I did not get all names of artists but 2. Kentridge 3. Betts & Lingen 5. Marie Watt 6. Villalongo & Ramani 7. Kekana Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair @powerhouse_arts
