And the moment it was zipped… I understood.
Everything shifted.
Backstage was chaos—last minute changes,
running downstairs to glam,
hair pulled up in seconds.
No time to think.
Just feel.
I remember practicing in the gown,
how it forced a different kind of movement—
slower, sharper.
Someone said,
“It’s giving evil queen…”
So I leaned into it.
Not just walking—
but casting something over the room.
Every step, every pause, every glance… deliberate.
And when I stepped out—
the applause, the cheering—
that energy came rushing back.
