Melissa is a florist, so the floral details on her invitations needed to be the most important element. I painted so many flowers and details for this suite - from flowers, to pets, to tennis rackets. While the main floral pattern is to die for, I think my favorite detail as everything came together is how the blue booklet pattern layered and contrasted the invitation to make both pieces pop. đź’• Maximalism ftw!

14 years ago, today, I applied for my business license and started this adventure. Fresh out of college and designing my own invitations, I figured weddings would be easier to market a new business to than trying to find corporate logo projects… years and years of bridal shows and figuring things out, finding my place, I can’t say it was easier, but I am so fortunate that this is where it lead me. I get to create so many things beyond the computer and challenge myself to learn and create even more. I know that I would have never gotten that through a corporate path or found true passion and happiness from creating if it weren’t for this adventure 💕
