The Mona Lisa is drowning.
Not because of the water, but because of what we call “art.”
Venice has been floating for centuries. Art hasn’t.
Between pavilions, sponsors, and openings, something got lost: the risk, the street, the truth.
So I leave her here, in the lagoon, as the Venice Biennale opens its doors. A smile fading beneath the surface.
Art is dead. Or maybe it just moved somewhere else.

I dedicated this work to those who risk their lives to save others. Medical staff, volunteers, silent heroes working tirelessly for the children of Gaza.
You are humanity at its purest. In a world with no empathy for the weakest, your courage and compassion remind us what truly matters.

Before sailing to Gaza, Open Arms left more than a wake in the sea.
They left a message in Barcelona: a mural of a volunteer holding a child.
A quiet image, loud enough to remind us, being human means not looking away.
Those children could be ours. The only difference is where they were born.
Choosing humanity, even now, is resistance.

Queden només 15 dies per Sant Jordi, probablement el dia més maco de l'any ❤️. Enguany, reinterpretem el mite a través d'una mirada icònica i urbana, fugint de la narrativa del conflicte per situar l'empatia i l'amor al cor de la ciutat. La sang esdevé pintura, la violència es transforma en tendresa i el combat, en vincle.
Dijous, 23 d'abril, vibrem amb Sant Jordi, a la gran illa per a vianants entre la Diagonal, la Gran Via i els carrers de Balmes i de Pau Claris, amb l'extensió a través del Portal de l'Àngel fins a l'avinguda de la Catedral i un tram de Gran de Gràcia, des del pla de Nicolás Salmerón fins al carrer d'Astúries. A més, tots els districtes de la ciutat tindran espais reservats per a la venda de llibres i roses.
