When John Cena tells you - I dig your passion !
So this wasn’t a moment I had prepared for ! I was at the red carpet. It was hot and stuffy and extremely jam packed. I had chatted with Cena before the carpet for a joint interview with PC and wondered how does this man who is one of the MOST popular faces on the planet manage to be so HUMBLE. So I decided to roll with a question
John what would you ask a celebrity if we swapped places and you got to hold this mike ! I wasn’t ready for what he would throw back at me. He made me dig deep and made me realise why I do what I do ! I love the movies and everything about it. What came out of my mouth as he was rushed out on the carpet was also an eye opener for me.
So when you have those moments of doubt and you wonder, if what you do is worth it, it helps to get a perspective from someone else. And if that someone else is John Cena, then that moment becomes one the most memorable moment of your life.

This year during a chat with Salman I presented him with one of dad’s art work. Watching the artist in him come to life after surveying the Colors on the canvas was quite a treat. 10/10! What a fantastic way to wrap up the year. Del Toro really outdid himself this time. His unique imagery and storytelling are truly something special.
The visuals he creates are like a gift that keeps on giving. There’s this pure, childlike innocence in how he brings each character to life and draws you into their world. I was completely hooked from the very first frame. It’s not without its flaws, though—it’s a bit messy and sometimes a bit loud and jarring, just like the half-human, half-monster at the heart of the film.
Frankenstein is a sensory feast. The reds, blacks, and greys blend together so beautifully. And that background score? It takes it to another level. Seriously, in the midst of all the AI stuff, it’s a nice reminder of filmmakers who are still passionate about making movies. 👏 👏 👏

Mohit Suri in a pre-release chat told me that he was almost tempted to make an action film. He was even thinking about how much money he would spend on VFX. But then something changed, and he decided to make a romantic film, and as they say, the rest is history….Am glad Mohit stuck to his gut heard his inner voice because Saiyaara has reset the industry and brought audiences back to the theatres. I made Amy Poehler laugh ! That’s the post. She’s my fav human in the world. If there’s anyone I want to spend a day with it has to be Amy. I found this old video of me and Amy talking about dealing with ANXIETY and what’s her trick to battle it. She gave me a really deep yet funny answer. I can’t imagine a world without Amy Poehler.
