In a world where so many are striving for real human connection, we believe the way you plan - and how we document - your wedding should reflect that.
Real, understated experiences and luxury in a destination wedding isn’t found on a price tag or a specific venue or country. It’s found in the manual processes.
It’s the local food sitting on a table in Italy, grown in the same place where you’re celebrating. By the people hosting you. It’s the locally sourced flowers, ethically harvested by hands that know the land. It’s foam free. It’s organic when possible. It’s the deep understanding of where your vendors come from and who they are as people and how they care for this place to make it what it is. People are part of a place. This makes destination weddings real.
Photographing a wedding for us is a manual process, especially on film. We’re not creating “content”, we’re helping tell a story. It’s a craft we work on, from beginning to end. Authenticity in processes. It’s almost a political act.
Extremely fast processes handled by fuck knows, weird digital black borders to create a fake film aesthetic. Clients not knowing what is AI or what isn’t.
No thanks.
We’re by no way shying away from technology. Modern cameras and lighting are an integral part of our hybrid processes. The computer lets us edit, retouch and curate - however photography is and has always been about writing with light, not I’s and 0’s while sitting in front of a screen in the dark. We use a little AI to correct blemishes or fix something that would otherwise ruin a good photograph - we’re keeping them in our own little flawed human hands.
