@tulsaballet just lit up London. 🩰 UK critics are swooning over Tulsa Ballet’s performances of “Made in America” at London’s Royal Opera House (@royalballetandopera ), which sold out all five nights ‼️
Congrats to Tulsa Ballet and Artistic Director Marcello Angelini on earning rave reviews from Bachtrack, The Times, The Guardian and more. As one of only three companies worldwide invited to perform at the Royal Opera House this season, we’re not surprised to see Tulsa Ballet make a splash. ✨
In addition to our high school graduates Marlowe and Ian (see senior spotlights 🎓), we would also like to congratulate Day Program students Alyssa, Emma, & Violet on their acceptance to Tulsa Ballet's Trainee Program for the upcoming season!

"I’m thrilled for the dancers, because you walked on that stage looking like you’ve danced in London every week of your life. You have technique in spades, but you’re also dancers from the heart. It was just a joy to watch from beginning to end." - Kevin O'Hare, Director of The Royal Ballet

"Remember Our Song is by Andy Blankenbuehler, a musical theatre choreographer best known for Hamilton, who condenses a whole musical’s worth of story into a swift quarter of an hour: boys off to war, the sweethearts they left behind, life in the navy, an underwater crisis, memories of home." - Lyndsey Winship, The Guardian
Andy Blankenbuehler's one & only ballet creation, Remember Our Song, is being performed this weekend only in the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Ballet & Opera to five sold-out audiences.
