As I wrap up the last few hours of my birthday 🎉 I wanted to share a few thoughts. I know I’ve been kinda quiet on the internet but I’ll be back soon. As an artist I refuse to be turned into a machine. It’s just not good for the art. It would lose the very parts we love about it. ❤️ This has been a tough year for me like it has been for many and I felt it was important to learn how to nurture myself through this season and not distract myself from it completely. So, I’ve taken some time to live. To breath. To observe. To cry. To sharpen and soften. All of the things. I’ve learned so much over this last year and I am excited to see the things that I’ve lived, observed, learned and even cried for turn into art. 🖼️ if you made it this far you’re a real one so you’ll get my favorite little nugget to take with you. ✨ God doesn’t waste a thing. Not one single moment. 😌 and if you keep him at the center of it all he himself will hold you together. ❤️🩹
