i've been wanting to explore found imagery, and"nouveau" felt like a good word to anchor that style around.
this is a mixture of my lettering, Aubrey Beardsley illustrations, and some other illustrations from the Heritage Library, and copy pulled from the "Art Nouveau" page on Wikipedia.
highly recommend exploring all of the art that museums share online under open source licenses. a truly incredible resource that's readily available.
the people ( @emily_romero__ ) asked, so i have to deliver. here’s the chaise longue design but a poster, for your viewing pleasure :)
shoutout @mockup.maison and @bendito.mockup , seriously the best mock-ups i’ve seen since i started looking for mock-ups in high school, can’t recommend them enough.
“i went to school and i got a degree”
here’s a little design based off of one of my favorite @wetlegband songs. “Longue” designed by me, everything else is Right Grotesk or Right Serif from @pangram.pangram . And huge thanks to @emilyromerodesign for her Midjourney magic to source the chaise longue image.

Day 22, "V"
I've been meaning to get caught up on posting but life gets busy! I hope you enjoy this "V," I tried quite a lot of things but landed on this very geometric, sharp form with a weird slant.
Day 21, "U"
The U ended up being way more dynamic of a form to draw than I expected. Exploring the capability of the curve, how it joins the vertical stroke, and how the strokes end? There's so much potential.
Also sorry I'm a bit behind schedule posting!
Day 20, "T"
Sorry friends, got a little behind over the weekend but have the next few letters ready to come down the pipe. Gosh I love the parts of a T, I think it's because I am so used to it as a part of my name but I had a true blast working on this one.
Day 19, "S"
We are running behind schedule but will get caught up this weekend, shotout all my fans patiently waiting (lmao). aNWAY y'all the S is a truly challenging form to make, there are so many complex curve relationships to figure out. I hope you like this because I drew so many and was stressing.
Enjoy your weekend and tell someone you love them!
