Meet Gabriella Dagrosa, our Spring 2026 College of Education Banner Bearer! 🌟
During her time at Texas Tech, Gabriella founded a student organization, participated as an Ambassador for the College of Education, and was a student teacher in a sought after residency, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Starting in the fall, she will begin her career as a middle school English teacher here in Lubbock. We are so proud of you! 🎉

In our final award announcement in honor of #TeacherAppreciationWeek, we are excited to share that Dr. Catherine Lammert has been named the 2026 Outstanding Researcher by the Office of Research and Innovation at the Texas Tech Honors Convocation this week! Congratulations! 🌟

Our celebration of #TeacherAppreciationWeek continues as we share that Merve Basdogan, Ph.D. was selected as the recipient of the 2026 Texas Tech Parents Association’s Spencer A. Wells Creativity in Teaching Award at the Distinguished Faculty Awards Ceremony. Congratulations, Dr. Basdogan! 🎉
