Stanislav Gromov.
SWAG / Solo Exhibition.
March 2026. Berlin.
Skin is not merely a surface, but a boundary where the inner and the outer, the personal and the social, fear and the desire to be seen all converge. In SWAG, Stas Gromov approaches the body as a carrier of traces — emotional, temporal, and biographical. This exhibition is about what a person tries to conceal, and what inevitably still comes through.

in contrast to my usual fast paced work, here is a technical one ⛓️💥📡📀
@canondeutschland // @BOTSPOT3D CASE STUDY FILM
Scanning has always been a fascinating topic to me; the more excited I was when @botspot3d approached me to work on a feature film of their brand new Botscan NEO3 full body scanner and their new object scanners for the German Government.
As outcome, we produced a case study film about how botspots professional scanners are constructed, how they operate and why Canon plays a crucial part in achieving the highest image output quality available on the market.
What a pleasure to work on this one <3

I never shared a complete post for this project, so here it goes..
I shot the photos of the cars back in 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. I wasn’t new into car photography since it has been my hobby since I was a kid and had my first digital camera at 9 years old. Thanks to all the owners who let me take photos of their cars that year!
My goal was to create 90s styled JDM (Japanese Domestic Motors) Graphic Design, fusing it together with my photography featuring @devil180sxgram ‘s 180SX, an GT-R R34 who’s owner wants to remain unknown and two more iconic cars from the Japanese streets.
I wanted to unroot myself from my perfectionism and work more roughly on these posters. I took inspiration from retro Japanese car magazines from the early 90s to 2000s to get feeling for what the normal had looked liked for the car enthusiasts back then.
I have brought home a few copies from my trip to Japan in 2024 to scan some of the graphics from it to match the cars shown in the posters to create.
I purposely combined these self-scanned graphics with today’s practices in digital editing tools such as photoshop to create a bridge between old and new.
Also the graffiti’s and some of the details around the GTR are hand drawn by me.
Nothing in these posters is AI.
Available soon for purchase.
New ones already in the making.
