Blk Virginia Theatre Alliance was honored to facilitate FLOW, our devised contemporary dance workshop, along with a fan favorite: Line Dancing for Collective Liberation @vathespians conference this year . These students never cease to inspire meâtheir vivid imaginations and eagerness to learn ignite a new spark every single year.
4 plays, 4 musicals, a childrenâs tour, and a whole lot of shit in between. Still moving with radical hope and love, and still over it yet so grateful.
Taking a beat to allow my brain to finally process the bountiful harvest of me working my ass off and to be filled with gratitude for my village.

I am humbled and thrilled to be named one of @styleweekly Top 40 Under 40 for 2025 for my work in theatre and artivism. I am this yearâs youngest honoree.
I believe in this art formânot only for its beauty, but for its profound power to galvanize, build and sustain community, to be revolutionary.
Equity in the arts remains an ongoing battle that I will continue to fight. BLACK DESIGNERS/TECHNICIANS EXIST. It is crucial to have Black technicians in the room especially when creating Black workâjust as crucial as having Black performers.
