Where it all began: the Battle of Flowers Parade was founded by women 135 years ago to honour the heroes of the Alamo. It has evolved into the 11-day Fiesta San Antonio, made up of hundreds of events powered by volunteers, which takes place every April to celebrate the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. It takes a year to organise so plans are already underway for the Fiesta in 2027. @ttmworld @visitsanantonio @visitsanantoniouk @goodhousekeepinguk #partywithapurpose #fiestasanantonio

Did you know about this!? Every day at 11am and 5pm, the Peabody Hotel @peabodymemphis in Memphis has the ‘Peabody Duck March’ It’s been going since the 1940s, the ducks seem to love it and nowadays they even have their own custom $200,000 duck palace penthouse on the rooftop of the hotel 🤣 Anyone can come to see it btw, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Just make sure to get there early to get a table and a drink! 📍Peabody Hotel, Memphis I’m discovering so much on this @deepsouthusa road trip already - follow along for more. #DeepSouth #Memphis #PeabodyDucks @tnvacation #tnsoundsperfect @ttmworld @journeyscapetravel

Jessica attended the @travelgossip Roadshow in Belfast representing Tennessee Tourism. It was fantastic connecting with agents and sharing all the new and exciting news about what’s happening in Tennessee, and great to see Tennessee is still at the top of everyone’s bucket list travels! As always a great roadshow from Travel Gossip! @tnvacation

@northamericatravelservice competition winner, Duncan, recently returned from an unforgettable adventure in San Antonio with his dad, and it sounds like the city made quite the impression! “Now I'm back I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did to arrange the San Antonio trip! My dad and I truly had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it, I had never been to Texas but got a really good impression and it was completely different to other states I had been to (in a good way!). The Mayan Dude Ranch, that was a unique experience! We really liked San Antonio as a city too, it had a smaller feel despite its population, and the The @sanantonioriverwalk was amazing, we spent a lot of time along it. @officialalamo we particularly enjoyed also. My 73-year-old dad even threw himself into the mirror maze and all the other activities! I still can't really believe it all happened!” A huge thank you to @visitsanantonio for helping create such special memories 😊 #sanantonio #competitionwinner #NorthAmericaTravelService

🇺🇸 Where I ate (and sipped) in New Orleans Louisiana I can safely say, I did not have a bad foodie experience in New Orleans. Seafood features heavily their menus. and taking a food + cocktail tour with @doctorGumbo gave us the backstory. We learned about Creole culture, the Holy Trinity in cooking, and the African & Indigenous roots of the city while snacking my way through the French Quarter. PLACES TO EAT 🦐 Red Fish Grill — classic shrimp gumbo + a hurricane is a perfect combo // @redfishgrill 🍤 Bourbon House — shrimp remoulade, Louisiana crab claws Bordelaise, plus a little coastal restoration love // @BourbonHouseNola 🥪 Napoleon House — muffuletta in a historic spot once offered as refuge to Napoleon himself // @NapoleonHouseNOLA 🦀 Otis Seafood House — Jumbo crab cakes paired with a glass of white wine was delish // @OtisSeafood BREAKFAST 🥐 Ruby Slippers — homemade beignets, fried green tomatoes, banana fosters French toast // @BrunchWithRuby 🍄‍🟫 Bear Cat — wholesome or naughty, your choice; the mushroom toast was so good // @BearCatNOLA COCKTAILS 🍹 Sazerac House — tasting through the evolution of New Orleans’ official cocktail // @SazeracHouse 🍸 Peychaud’s at The Celestine — sip French 75s + Sazeracs in the courtyard to hide from the madness // @PeychaudsBar @TheCelestineNola SHOPS ✨Nola Sauce Bar — taste-test your heat tolerance before you buy // @NolaSauceBar ✨Leah’s Pralines — selling pralines + chocolates since 1944 // @LeahsPralinesNola Who fancies a foodie weekend in New Orleans? ——- AD @neworleansandco @visitneworleans @explore.louisiana #VisitNewOrleans #NewOrleansFood #NOLAfoodie #ExploreLouisiana @deepsouthusa @ttmworld | Where to eat in New Orleans | NOLA Restaurants | What to eat in New Orleans

HELLO NASHVILLE 🇺🇸 We started off our @deepsouthusa road trip in the iconic Music City. A day full of trying incredible home made food at Arnolds Country Kitchen, learning about the music legends of Jefferson Street with the local hero Lorenzo Washington and of course, finishing by hitting up broadway for endless country music (and beers). Nashville is easily one of the coolest cities I’ve been to in the USA. Highly recommend making the trip for the nightlife alone. Thanks to @journeyscapetravel and @ttmworld for a great start to this bucket list road trip. @tnvacation @ttmworld @visitmusiccity #Nashville
