The threads of life we weave together…..
How fine the threads of life we weave,
how light the balance of our fate.
Every broken strand of web, we grieve,
and bear the extra weight.
In some we see the ending clear,
others will hit out from the blue.
Don’t spend too much of your time, my dears,
on when it maybe you.
For this should give us joy in life,
as we’ll never truly have our way.
We should treasure the joy, and the strife,
in every single day.
This may be time you’d never had,
So don’t let your love go unspoken,
Be happy for your bonds, not sad,
even when they’re broken.
How fine the threads of life we weave,
how light the balance of our fate.
Honour these ties, for I believe,
their memories live incarnate.
