It’s been a dream of mine to stay at the Benesse House Oval Room since my first visit to Naoshima in 2018. What a priceless experience and with the most special person in my life.

Evergreen A1 speaker and subwoofer… Chet Baker really comes alive on these horns.

We’re spending our honeymoon in Miyakojima island - it’s such a stunning place, but more importantly it’s ripe for shell collection and documentation. (This photo set was @moonshineflowerpants ’s idea)

Even tho I loved the form factor of the ultra compact makita charger I built I had to go with a larger board because the alternative didn’t have balance charging - which is a battery killer. So here’s a slightly bigger charger that gets the job done!

Getting ready for Japan! I upgraded my Makita travel charger and designed it to fit in a Pelican 1020 case. Added a 20mm fan for cooling (fires bad). Loving the bone white Bambulab filament, but the print quality's a bit off - maybe the cold weather? #makita #pelicancase #batteryPowered #japan #makitamod #bambulab #3dprint #plafilament #lunarcore

This is a 1 of 1 McDonald’s lab lamp cast/printed in 90s bmac white. I was Inspired by the Moonshake3d's FLOTTILL Ikea Hack. My version features a cast cement base with branded stuff catcher and interchangeable light diffuser. On another note, I love IKEA meatballs! #ikeahack #flottilj #ikea #cement #tangibleproducts @moonshake3d @ikea

@whr was gracious enough to let me crash their pop up with my speakers! I was surprised by how good classic Hawaiian tunes sound coming through the horns. Also thank you @tomsachs for providing the spot!

It all started yesterday when my favorite mouse began acting up, I pried it open to see if something was loose… nothing. So I slogged through finding a new one to buy when I remembered that Optimum had 3d printed his own - maybe someone made a UL frame that I could transplant mine into. What luck, there was one on printables! 40 minutes later and my mouse was in a new housing. It was cool but then suddenly the wave of nit picking started, opened up OnShape and modeled my own version. 5 prints later and I’ve got my perfect mouse. I’ll release the files soon for anyone with a steelseries aerox 3.

I communed with ChatGPT and it told me that my port geometry was all out of wack… now we’ve got it dialed in for the 61hz range…

Is it Kodak yellow or McDonald’s Golden Arches yellow? I’m printing a special version for some friends of mine to test out. This is what the inside of the multicell speaker looks like. A lot of thought has gone into figuring out the proper partition geometry! (Yes it sounds great, crystal clear vocals and mid tone fidelity)

I started messing around with custom speaker design (they sound great!) and think I am ready for the next phase - feedback and testing. I’m looking for folks who are interested in buying sets for their home/studio. The only catch is that I’d prefer people around nyc as I haven’t yet figured out how to ship solid blocks of durable plaster in a sane manner.
