Started the year with Filipino comfort food at Tselogs in Daly City, CA with my boyfriend 🤍
He ordered the bangsilog dish and his take is that it’s one of the best bangsilog dishes he’s ever had from a Filipino restaurant. Garlic rice and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, and the bangus portion was just right for the price. Highly recommend giving this place a shot, especially if you’re new to Filipino food 🇵🇭🍳🐟

@tselogs (“CHEL-logs”) is known rightfully so in the Bay for their infamous CHICKEN sisig-silog (comes with a perfectly fried egg and garlic fried rice).
But they’re also home to one of my most favorite #LechonKawali outside of HI. Hella crunchy cracklin skin & the pork belly layers in between are super juicy and tender.
ProTip: saw-saw (dip) it in the accompanying vinegar and #sarsa (Lechon sauce) for an elevated experience & to cut the umami richness.
