✨ Year 3 of The Formation ✨
The T.R.U.T.H. Project’s Community Advisory Board, The Formation, continues its powerful journey of community education, advocacy, and public health engagement. As they move through Year 3, members are preparing to present their latest community findings and survey insights while amplifying their national virtual syphilis awareness campaign.
To support this next phase of engagement with both community and practitioners, we welcomed the brilliant Josie Pickens to our May meeting for an intentional Facilitation 101 training. This experience offered additional tools to strengthen community dialogue, education, and care-centered facilitation.
We are incredibly proud of this collective and their continued commitment to the work. Stay tuned for updates on our June Community Report Out. We look forward to sharing space, knowledge, and conversation with you soon. 💛

#ThrowbackThursday
There was something sacred in the room on April 22nd. ✂️🖤
For Wellness Wednesday, Learning to Hold Myself Together, we gathered in intentional space and explored healing through collage, guided by Terrell Swinton. Through cutting, layering, and creating, we honored every piece of ourselves, finding alignment, reflection, and softness in the process.
Collaging became more than art; it was a practice of choosing ourselves and embracing the beauty of becoming whole.
We’re deeply grateful to Terrell for holding such a thoughtful, affirming space for our community. Your guidance invited vulnerability, creativity, and restoration.
Thank you to lululemon for supporting this experience through our Mindful Monday and Wellness Wednesday series. And to everyone who showed up...thank you for trusting the process. The healing continues. ✨

The reviews are in...and the impact is undeniable. 💫
Audiences are calling And The Walls Came Tumbling Down “alluring”, “deeply healing", and "out of 1 to 10, it was a 99". What happened in that room wasn’t just a performance, it was truth.

Cinco de Mayo is more than a celebration, it’s a remembrance of resilience. On May 5, 1862, Mexico claimed victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla, a powerful reminder that community strength can overcome even the greatest odds.
At The T.R.U.T.H. Project, we honor that same spirit of resistance, culture, and collective care. Our work is rooted in uplifting community, celebrating identity, and creating spaces where healing and joy can exist side by side.
Today, we celebrate the beauty of culture, the power of perseverance, and the importance of standing together...always. ✨

On this National Teachers Day, we honor the educators who shape minds, nurture curiosity, and hold the foundation of our collective learning.
Thank you for being the backbone of how we grow, question, and understand the world. Your patience, passion, and commitment ripple far beyond the classroom...into every life you touch.
Today, we celebrate you and the lasting impact of your work.
