A Summer Sunday night DIY indie folk gig in Durham city, featuring Trust Fund, T. Sharpe and Gelfling. 10th August, £8/£4. Tickets on sale now (link in bio).
Ellis Jones has played music as Trust Fund since 2012, releasing four albums that range from lo-fi bedroom pop to full-band indie rock. His songs have been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and The Guardian, and endorsed by Frank Ocean’s Blonded Radio. Trust Fund have played extensively in the UK and EU, including tours supporting Mitski, Frankie Cosmos and Los Campesinos! After an extended break since 2017, Trust Fund returned with the self-released singles ‘Capital’, ‘Late Nite Skate’, ‘Animals In War’ and ‘London’ – these quiet, introspective indie-folk songs have been playlisted by NPR, Merge, New York Times, and others. Has It Been A While, Trust Fund’s fifth full-length record, was released 2nd November 2024 on Tapete Records. This is Trust Fund’s first time playing Durham since back in the Empty Shop days (RIP). We can’t wait to have them back!
Support comes from the Madrid based Durham native T. Sharpe, playing lovely compelling folk music, including some traditional local folk songs. Opening the show will be Gelfling who writes quite simply brilliant, witty, heartbreaking, folk punk songs which I promise you will love.
This is a laid back, intimate DIY affair at a great venue with lovely staff and delicious alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for sale. Tickets are £8 (plus website booking fee) if you can afford it, but if not there is a £4 (plus website booking fee) option no questions asked. Tickets will be available on the door -assuming there are any left- but buying early will ease my considerable anxiety! This is a non-profit DIY gig. All money made will be split between the bands. Please consider grabbing a ticket and supporting live music in Durham! Cheers, love Nathy x
the new @radiantheart__ album is out today everywhere
I helped to record, play, produce and mix it. I’m proud to have played a part in presenting Chris and Celia’s brilliant timeless songs

VENRES 4: CONCERTO TRUST FUND + AERONAVE ADOLESCENTE
21h | 6-10 € doazón artistas
Aforo limitado
Reservas: [email protected]
Este enfoque materialízase de xeito brillante no seu último disco, Has it been a while?.
Ligazón: /album/has-it-been-a-while

the debut Big Oil record, Dweller of the Ditch, is out now on @sadmachinerecs thank you and love to Ellis (@trust___fund ) for recording these songs with me. We made this record in Sheffield across a long weekend last summer and it was an extremely rewarding stress-free process (for us, for @celia__rm less so thanks to the room mic ripping so much paint off the wall.. sorry 🙏) which allowed a lot of time for watching match of the day, Elvis in Hawaii, the sound of music and a really good The Shadows concert film.. a great way to make music you can listen wherever you listen to music or you can pay to download it from Bandcamp or you can go to YouTube and watch a video I made for the record. Shot the video around the west country this winter gone.. around a lot of the landscapes which inspired these songs thanks for listening appreciate it!
