Regarding Life Issue 1° — Processes ⚙️
The Editor’s letter is in the link in my bio :) @regardinglifemag
Regarding Life has been my personal newsletter for over a year—sharing thoughts, reflections, and ideas on life. Now I’m transforming it into a fully designed digital publication with themed issues and an evolving structure.
What you’ll find here are musings on creativity and life. Design breakdowns and process explorations. Essays on how we navigate what we feel—joy, grief, change. I’ll be writing about things I’m genuinely curious about, and I’m looking for others like me who want to think out loud, philosophise, and be honest without the stakes. The Editor’s letter will explain this further.
I’m showing up as a designer, writer, and editor. Learning in public and inviting you along with me
Issue 1 is about Processes—how things are made and how we process what we feel ⚖️✨
Designed by me
I wrote some thoughts on self love—how we might gently tend to ourselves the way we tend to the people we love. I’d love for you to read it and share your thoughts with me x

Thank you @thewindrushgla for the opportunity to exhibit my work for Black History Month at Westfield Stratford. The theme Standing Firm in Power and Pride gave me the perfect space to express my deep pride in my Jamaican heritage.
My grandparents embodied the tenets of dignity, pride, and hard work, and left behind a beautiful legacy that I’m incredibly proud of. ✨🧡
Rest In Eternal Peace Grandma ❤️ thank you for the endless love you gave us and for the life you lived that left us with the most important teachings.
You leave behind beautiful memories and such an amazing legacy, thank you so much for all you have done 🤍
I love you endlessly and will miss you so much. Please say hi to Grandad for me x
Some days, grief can be observed from an intellectually removed place—on the other side of the glass, peering in and understanding the context given to those emotions.
And some days, grief can be worn heavily, like a weighted blanket that smothers you with an evenly distributed pressure.
Today, I’m not quite sure what day I’m in, but as I remember my outstanding grandad on the anniversary he passed, I find it’s incredibly easy to let the tears fall and to let the emotions overcome me. It’s strangely bittersweet to remember such an amazing person and also contend with the reality that you’ll never see them again in this realm.
I don’t necessarily feel the negative spectrum of the sadness or depression, but I feel a certain despondence when I realise that new memories cannot be made with my grandad, and that I only have the ones we made to carry me through til the end.
I got 17 amazingggggg years, and I can’t thank God enough for them.
A lot of things are changing in my life, and the more distance between the years of his passing and the present, the more I begin to panic—for fear of losing touch with those memories.
But it’s a pointless exercise. I’ll never forget my grandad, and if or when my memories fade, the impact of his life is seared into my heart.
RIEP Grandad, thanks for the memories and wisdom 🧡
One thing I’ve grown to love about the internet is how it shortens the distance between ourselves and the world. People and places are no longer a thousand miles away—they’re now at the tip of our fingers and the zippo spark of a thought.
I’ve admired @shottaspence as an artist for just shy of a decade, and a growing desire to share my love for his artistry led to him loving my work and sharing it.
Feeling blessed by this full-circle moment and proud the fear didn’t stop me from sharing my views and connecting with a favourite artist of mine.
