I’m so grateful to God for the great things He has done!
There’s nothing and I mean nothing like seeing your child happy and so full of joy and promise.
"How do you feel now?"
That's what everyone keeps asking.
And honestly? I feel good.
Not because the wedding was beautiful (it was).
Not because the photos are perfect (they are).
But because I don't have to worry about her anymore.
Here's the truth: For years, I carried a quiet weight. Not fear…just the awareness that one day, my only daughter would leave our home. Would she be ready? Would she be safe? Would she remember everything we taught her?
Then Jadin showed up.
And on his very first visit, he looked us in the eye and declared what God had already told his heart: She's going to be my wife.
That wasn't confidence. That was calling.
Now I get to stand on the other side of the wedding day and say this out loud:
Zoe is grounded in God. She has her own relationship with Him…not one she borrowed from us. I've watched her pray, seek, trust, and grow. That foundation doesn't crack when life gets hard.
And Jadin? He will cover her. Protect her. Provide for her. Not because he's perfect but because he's a man of integrity who fears the Lord and loves my daughter like Christ loves the church.
So no, I'm not sad.
I'm not anxious.
I'm not hovering.
I'm at peace.
That's what happens when you raise a daughter to love God… and then watch her marry the man God raised to love her.
Thank you, Jesus. For Zoe. For Jadin. And for the gift of letting go without fear.
