It was peak Monsoon Fiesta season @nid_india in 2010. Adrenaline was high and an unspoken rivalry was brewing among teams VC, ID & Foundy. Just the day prior to the match, a few of us @troyvasanth@from.rara@ashesither@abhimanyughimiray@malharsalil came up with the idea of doing our version of a flashmob half-time performance to boost the morale of our basketball ball players with the entire college watching.
It was ✨PURE JOY✨ to see the enthusiasm & excitement with which everyone came for practise. We were not ready for it because nearly a 100 people showed up for practise 🤯 stayed on for as long as it took to get the moves right. Dancers, non-dancers… didn’t matter, because everyone just wanted to be a part of it and have fun! Miraculously, we practised & pulled this last minute plan off, literally OVERNITE! And I know maybe it’s not a big deal in the larger scheme of things, but to ME it was the most fun I’ve had in college & is definitely one of the highlights of my student life at NID 🩵 #yovc
