Yep. Its a girdle. And it took some work to make it work with a rear sump oil system. 2 bolt mains have a little support now. Took two pick up tubes and a fist full of clay to get me here. Also had to modify the dip stick location. 🤦♂️is it worth it🤔. I have been known to spin this motor to 7000rpm, making power all the way there. Its going in a truck at least 2 times the previous car weight it was in.
Narrow glides and dual disc brakes. I remember 15 yrs ago it seemed like there were very few of us showing up with front brakes. I was buying complete, triple trees to calipers, 35mm and early 39mm front ends for $100-$150. This one is # 4. Lots of miles so far. Couple of motors. Still a looker, still here. Some motor changes coming down the pipe

Been a good day of getting things done. Pulled the motor and trans out. Got the driveshaft measured and getting cut down, balanced, and spicer'd out. Bags installed. Started sorting out pulley and serpentine belt set up.
