Hi, it's Caleb Marshall, the Founder & CEO of Tropeaka. 👋
We're on a mission to positively impact millions of people in their health, and I'd like to tell you my personal story of WHY we are so passionate about this mission!
Tropeaka started in 2016, but before that, my health sucked...
Between 2011 to 2014, I was HORRIBLY SICK. Every day I felt chronic exhaustion, pain and inflammation throughout my whole body, dizziness and flu-like symptoms, just to name a few things.
With this physical pain came mental pain. I was depressed and even had suicidal thoughts.
What was just as bad was I had no answers from conventional doctors and no answer as to when I'd be healthy again.
This all changed around in 2014 when I discovered functional and integrative medicine and nutrition. These doctors told me things that were, oddly enough, radical thoughts back then, that if you cut out the CRAP from your diet and replace it with healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices that your body has the capacity to heal itself.
Through their tests and diagnosis, they found out that I had extremely poor gut health from 5 years of prescribed oral antibiotics for acne, which was then compounded by a mouldy environment I later moved into. It's no surprise that my immune health was incredibly poor.
So I changed my diet and lifestyle choices (sleeping more and learning to stress less) and nourished my body through high-quality food and supplements.
And then something that BLEW MY MIND occurred... 🤯
My life RADICALLY CHANGED around within weeks! I went from over three years of daily chronic sickness to a healthy man on the path to full healing.
I was so blown away by the DRASTIC CHANGE in my health that I wanted to share this with the world.
I realised as I went into health food stores in 2014 that nobody was making health foods tasty and relatable to people around my age, and so the idea of Tropeaka was born!
I thought, what if I could make health foods delicious, convenient, easy to understand and something people would be proud to show off on social media?
