Originally released in 2017 as a mix CD, “Diggin’ Japanese AOR” sees DJ Muro selecting from Universal Music’s catalogue, now presented on a 2LP format. The focus is on late ‘80s to early ‘90s Japanese AOR, bringing together tracks that sit between pop, funk and soft rock.
Includes cuts like Maki Asakawa’s “American Night” and music by Yoshio Harada, alongside lesser-known material from the same period. A solid overview of a scene that continues to be rediscovered by DJs and collectors 🇯🇵
