I just sat down to break down the DNA of every song on the latest record Feeling Town. Here is how the album came together:
1. My Appearance – Setting the tone with heavy atmosphere and getting the vocals front and center early featuring the Brasstronauts @jessicajoymills@christopherleap@sol_lroybal and @a_mcm_exists on the country twang.
2. Feeling Town – The title track and the heartbeat of the whole project.
3. Repo Anne – Digging into the grit and the narrative side of the songwriting. Brasstronauts are featured here.
4. Kawatora – Diving into the instrumental side—all about analog texture and movement. Brasstronauts are also featured here.
5. Sad Man in the Moon - Reworked song with the new band
6. Electrix – Added this one last minute to tie the room together. Moog energy.
7. Watch Your Head – Warped tape sounds layered with urban noises and birds from YNP!
8. Elephant Graveyard – The closer and single featuring @denverwilliamsmusic . Make sure to check the Vimeo link in bio for the full visual.
