Meet the makeup artist:
My name is Beatrix, and I'm self taught, doing gory, bloody makeup since I was 12. I absolutely adore sci fi, but horror and action have a special place in my heart for all the practical makeup that is used. Most of my experience working with other people has been from doing hair and makeup for my school's musicals, where I've been shown how to apply facial hair and use spirit gum to my advantage. I also have an amateur interest in directing, with roles as an assistant director to a large musical and main director for VCE Theatre productions.
